2012 - 2017 Volkswagen Golf 7 Hidden Features / VCDS, OBDEleven Mods
Hello. In this article, I prepared the hidden feature unlock codes for Volkswagen Golf 7, which was produced between 2012 and 2017, with devices such as OBDEleven - VCDS. Be careful, you may damage your vehicle. If you're coding with OBDEleven, do a full backup. If you are doing it with VCDS, do not make any changes without AutoScan. This hidden feature coding process also applies to all other MQB-based cars.
If you are a beginner in coding and have not bought a device yet, it is useful to get the OBDEleven device. It is both easy to use and easy to return to the original when you make a wrong operation. While you can't get adaptation backups via VCDS, you can get Long Coding and Adaptation backups via OBDEleven.

1. Gauge Test - Needle Sweep
Description: Gauge Test/Needle Sweep - sweep the gauge needles through their full range automatically on your dashboard when you turn ignition on.

3. Disable seat belt warning
ATTENTION: Driving without Seat-Belt violates the law in many countries! We do not encourage or recommend Seat - Belt Warning deactivation, because in case of an accident, protection systems (Airbags, Seat-Belt pretensioners, etc.) will only protect the driver or passengers if Seat-Belts are buckled.

4. Adjust Hill Start Assist sensitivity
Description: Hill Start Assist (HSA) holds the vehicle when the foot brake is released by temporarily locking the brake pressure (for a maximum of 1.5 seconds) to provide comfortable starting-off without rolling back. Hill Start Assist (HSA) operates on inclines greater than 5% and is fitted in combination with both the manual transmission and the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).

5. Enable fan level display when on auto
Description: Factory configuration for Climatronic in Golf VII is not to display blower fan speed when AUTO setting is on. With enabling it, blower fan speed is clearly shown on Climatronic when AUTO setting is ON.

6. Heated seats memory
Description: Disable/Enable heated seat button state memory after ignition OFF.
