Description of the Skoda Superb Adaptive Lane Assist:
Lane Assist can tell when you stray from a lane unintentionally. This system works in conjunction with a camera to recognise lane markings on the road, including yellow lines during roadworks, traffic cones, and other roadside or lane borders.

MQB (Modular Transversal Toolkit)
The Modular Transverse Toolkit (MQB) is currently Volkswagen’s most widely used technology platform. It forms the basis of a variety of models ranging from the small Polo to the large US SUV – the Atlas. All MQB models are equipped with transverse engines installed at the front. The benefits of the MQB include extraordinarily efficient use of space. As one of very few automakers, Volkswagen is able, thanks to the MQB, to offer all its conventional models with an electric powertrain, too. The Golf is an example: to date, this is the world’s first and only car offering customers a choice between petrol, diesel, CNG, electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The "first-generation" MQB platform underpins various vehicles from C-segment upwards.
The "second-generation" MQB debuted in 2016, which also introduces three different types of the platform grouped by size/segment. The introduction of the MQB A0 category enables the platform to be used on smaller and cheaper vehicles in the B-segment.
A low-cost variation of the A0 platform for the Indian market was introduced in 2019 and utilized for vehicles released from 2021.

With Trailer Assist, drivers do not need to rethink the situation when reversing with a trailer. They no longer need to turn the steering wheel to the left to move the trailer to the right, or vice versa. In general, the system also makes it easier to reverse precisely in a straight line. To reverse with a trailer, the driver starts by selecting reverse gear and presses a button to activate the system. The steering angle is then indicated on the instrument cluster. The driver can set the intended direction using the mirror adjustment switch that functions like a joystick. The car receives the steering commands given by the system and the driver only needs to operate the accelerator and brakes. The power assisted steering is automatically operated to move the trailer in the required direction.
This coding guide only applies to cars on the MQB platform. Watch what you're doing. You can permanently damage your car's ECUs. All risk is yours.
