How to Code Skoda Surround and Virtual Subwoofer
Greetings everyone! In this article, you will learn how to code Skoda Surround and Virtual Subwoofer.
Requirements

- Skoda Octavia A7
 - Skoda Superb MK 3
 - Skoda Karoq
 - Skoda Kodiaq
 - Skoda Fabia
 
Important Notes
- Do not attempt this if you have a CANTON sound system. It is not compatible.
 - This coding does not work with the radio. It only works for multimedia sources like USB and Bluetooth.
 
Coding Procedure
Step 1: Select Control Module
Navigate to "5F - Information Elec."
Step 2: Go to Long Coding
- "Byte 11" - Sound_System → Change from Sound_System_internal to Sound_System_internal_individual
 
Step 3: Restart the Main Unit
After coding, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to restart the main unit.
Step 4: Enable Skoda Surround and Virtual Subwoofer
Once the device restarts, connect your phone to the car via Bluetooth or USB, then follow these steps:
- Go to Media → Settings → Sound
 - Locate and enable Skoda Surround and Virtual Subwoofer
